Inlaid Rose Wonder

Who doesn’t love the new Falling in Love Designer Series Paper from Stampin’Up! I think it makes the perfect background for a die cut rose inlaid with a different color cardstock. In this example the rose was die cut from vellum (so that the outline would blend into the background) and inlaid with white card stock on the beautiful Falling in Love DSP, and then layered onto a blushing bride card base. The sentiment was die cut using the framelit from the Rose Wonder bundle, and stamped with Crumb Cake ink, then popped up on dimensionals over a piece of white craft ribbon. The butterfly was punched from the same card stock and overlaid with a vellum butterfly and dressed with a trio of pearls. In hindsight, I should have added a layer of white between the card base and DSP to make it pop more.
