I decided to take an Altenew Inspiration Challenge this month, using the Windows to Stillness card kit. Altenew posts a photograph, and challenges people to create a card, tag, page or whatever, using the color palette in the photograph. You can draw inspiration from any of the elements in the photograph. However, submissions must make sure that Altenew products are prominent in the design. And, this is this month’s photograph.
I opted to focus on the lantern for my focal point, having just received their newest Craft Your life kit, called Windows to Stillness. It’s a beautiful kit containing the layered die cut window set you see me use below. The kit also comes with a stamp set of florals and sentiments. The embossing folder that I used as the background for the card is also part of the kit.
