New Horizons DSP

Wow, how I love a good scenic patterned paper! And the New Horizons DSP, even at 6×6 inches, does not disappoint. This paper was introduced in the January to June 2022 Mini Catalog, and I wanted to make sure to demonstrate different ways to use this beautiful paper before it retires in June. So, following Kylie Bertucci’s advice to “Love it, chop it”, we did just that in our April class. We cut the 6×6 paper into four 3×3 pieces with which we could make note cards and A2 cards (shown below). For some of the images, we used small stamps, like the trees, to help create more of a landscape.

Some of the 3×3 pieces were cut into even smaller pieces, and used to create collage type cards.

I showed them a framed piece that I made with the smaller pieces, incorporating other stamps and dies. And these samples are just some of the beautiful papers you will find in the New Horizons DSP.
