It has taken me a few years to design a card I like using this pine cone embossing folder, but this Rustic Christmas card is the answer.
After embossing the background panel with the pine cone embossing folder, I use a brayer to add Soft Suede ink over the embossed pine cones. The plaid and focal squares are die cut using the Stitched shaped framelits. The focal images with the pine bough and pine cones are stamped from the long-retired Ornamental Pine stamp set. But, it’s one of my favorites.
The card stocks in this design are Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler and white. The inks in this design are Soft Suede and Old Olive. All in all, this is a simple rustic Christmas card.
