
For our November class at the Senior Center, using a retired stamp set, we made this Sweetest Time candle card. Each person stamped the candles in either red or green. Then they swapped with another to mix up the candles so they would have 2 of one color and 1 of the other.
The candles are fussy cut and layered and popped up on a circle layer of gold glimmer Dollar Store adhesive vinyl and white card stock, die cut from the layering circle dies. A strip of Peaceful Prints DSP and ¼” strips of the glimmer vinyl is attached directly to the front card panel and provides some background for the candle focal point. Another strip of the designer series paper was also added to the envelope flap. A tiny bow adds a bit of embellishment. The sentiment is part of the Sweetest Time stamp set.
