In my ongoing effort to teach new ideas, one of the cards in this month’s workshop focused on making a basic explosion card. Using some retired patterned paper, and the book-binding card template, we created this quick and easy fun fold card. I CASE’d this card using the basic instructions for a Christmas card made by Stamp by Stamp Creations. You can watch her video here.
The explosion portion of the card is made from a coordinating 6 x 6 inch piece of patterned paper from the same pack. It is folded in half one direction, then the other direction and lastly the opposite way diagonally.
I know that explosion cards can involve many folds for maximum explosion, but I wanted to show how easily a simple one can be made.
