Finding closure for some fun fold cards often means creating a belly band. But I recently watched a video from Rachel Tessman where she used tiny magnets hidden between layers on her card. You can see it here. Of course, I changed it up and used a different stamp set and paper.
The magnets are so small. But, while easy to disguise under the paper layer, they are not very strong. Following her tutorial, I found that using two sets of magnets was even better when creating my class sample seen here.
The large stamped image and sentiment are from the Eden’s Garden stamp set and we used Soft Succulent ink for stamping. We used a combination of Mint Macaron and Soft Succulent card stocks. All of the items used on this card can be found at my online store.
I know I will be using magnets again in the future for finding closure for many of these fun fold cards, but also for folios which I am focusing on currently. Stay tuned for more on this.
