For someone who loves foliage and foliage-patterned paper, the Pretty Prints designer series paper from Stampin’Up! is a must have. But, pairing the paper with the fern embossing folder is even better.

After embossing the paper layer, we used white craft ink to white-wash some of the raised fern in the corners (see below) to make them stand out. The craft ink takes a little more time than dye ink to dry. A heat tool helps that to dry faster. The sentiment label was die cut from the layering panel before adhering the paper to it. We also used a small fern stamp to create a pattern on the ribbon before attaching it to the panels.

Sometimes, manly cards are hard to make when you have a ton of floral stamps, but fern and foliage stamps and papers, like Pretty Prints, make them a whole lot easier to create. The Pretty Prints paper and Fern embossing folder can be found at my online store. I know I will be making many different versions of this card. Love the paper!
