Make a Wish cards

Sometimes you have to dig into your stash of retired stamp sets and patterned paper. This is one such example to create these Make a Wish cards.

Make a Wish fun-fold card with Painted with Love specialty patterned paper

The retired patterned paper, Painted with Love, in these cards has gold foil accents on one side. The large sentiment is a favorite of mine for making birthday cards. It is from a long retired stamp set called Life is Grand. I actually received this free set at a Stampin’Up! convention.

In this picture, you are still seeing the front of the card. In the next photo, you will see the inside of the card. This is what makes this Make a Wish card, a fun fold card. Hope you will try this card-in-a-card fun fold technique. It’s perfect for a birthday card surprise!

Don’t mind the extra dried glue that shows up on the backside of the Coral sentiment panel. I didn’t judge that correctly. Have you done that?!
