Springtime Foil Scraps

At our Senior Center class, I show the ladies how to create a unique and easy card template using Springtime foil scraps. We use regular dye markers to color the card stock, because alcohol markers tend to discolor the foil.

The springtime foil scraps are cut to 2 3/4″ x 7/8″ and 4 1/8″ x 7/8″. These are adhered to a black card stock layer. The leaf images are colored with Garden Green dye markers. Then, the whole panel is layered onto a Garden Green card base. The sentiment on the front of the card is from Dandelion Wishes stamp set. Six floral punches from the Petite Petals punch are popped up on the front and dressed with pearls.

A small strip of springtime foil, backed with a black card stock strip, is adhered to the inside panel. And, the inside message is from the retired Covered in Sunshine stamp set.

While most of what we use in this class is retired product, you can still find many great products with which you can create something similar at my online store.
