Under the Moon

We had such fun with this stamp set – Under the Moon. I am sharing two cards we made at a recent class. These show both a daytime nautical and an evening grove scene.

The images in the sailboat card all come from the named stamp set. The sentiment is found in the Unbounded Love set. The sailboat card uses the stamaparatus. The sun stamp is placed on the one plate of the stamp positioner. And, the water stamp is placed on the other plate positioned to match up at the bottom of the sun. The sun is inked with Daffodil Delight with some peach ink daubed over the inked stamp before stamping on the white panel. Ink the water stamp with Pool Party ink. The clouds in the sky are stamped with Balmy Blue ink after being stamped off first. The black card layer is 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″. The white panel is 3 1/4 x 4 1/2″.

The botanical images in the moon card are from the Grassy Grove stamp set and Thoughts and Prayers stamp set. The moon stamp is inked with Smoky Slate ink and then masked with a 2″ circle while blending on the background ink. Use blending brushes to blend the two inks onto the background around the Moon. I used Balmy Blue and Misty Moonlight inks. And the sentiment is from the Wetlands stamp set. Memento ink is the black ink used. The black panel on the moon card is 5 1/4″ x 4″, and the stamped panel is white card stock cut to 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″.

This stamp set can be found at my online store.
