Did you know that you can ink blend over the Naturally Gilded DSP? And, by masking off a circle, you can quickly create a night scene, making it appear there is a moon behind the foiled images.
The 3′ x 4″ piece of Naturally Gilded Designer Series Paper is ink blended with Soft Seafoam and Flirty Flamingo inks. Then, it is added to a 3 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ piece of white card stock. Finally, it is adhered to the copper foil card base (purchased at Hobby Lobby). The sentiment is from a Simon Says Stamp set called “Sunflower Fields”, which you can see more of on their blog.
The Naturally Gilded DSP is no longer available,. However, you can achieve a similar look with any foiled or gilded paper with masking and ink blending. Click this link to see other examples of masked and sponged cards on my blog.
